In a press conference held on the steps of The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, hotel officials announced to reporters and a crowd of visitors that Bette Midler will replace Celine Dion as the venue’s resident headliner. The Divine Miss M has signed a two-year contract, and her show is scheduled to premiere February 20, 2008.
