Tacos & Tequila

You might not know this, but Cinco de Mayo is not Mexico's Independence Day. The holiday that we celebrate in May is actually a yearly commemoration of the Mexican army's victory over the French army in 1862's Battle of Puebla. More interesting, outside of Puebla and the United States, most of Mexico doesn't even celebrate the fi fth of May. September 16th, though, is a whole different story.
