TIPPING
Because Las Vegas is a resort destination, tipping is an important part of the economy. Sometimes it can be confusing wondering when or how much to tip. WEDDINGS
An amazing number of weddings take place in this city each year. There were 108,963 marriage licenses issued in Clark County in 2007. Las Vegas is a popular site for wedding ceremonies partly because the only requirement is a license. Nevada licenses cost $55, payable in cash only, and can be obtained at the Downtown Clark County Marriage Bureau, 201 Clark Ave., daily from 8 a.m.-midnight. Couples can purchase a license and say their vows at the Office of Civil Marriages or get married elsewhere. The license is good for up to one year. Call 702-671-0600.
